Listen: Tone White - "Ring His Number Because You're Guaranteed A Good Time" [Premiere]
Neo-funk rocksmith and pizzeria entrepreneur Tone White has unfurled a shiny new cut called "Ring His Number Because You're Guaranteed A Good Time".
White's output remains scant, with only a few other tracks floating around the ether, but having issued a statement of intent as commanding and attention-stealing as this, surely he's working towards a little something.
Fans of Jungle or similar disco-poised ilk might wanna get their boogie motors warmed up: this is seriously funky. Jammed with electro-pop synth splatters, rock beats, squiddly-diddly axe wails, brassy funk horns, '80s pomp, '90s swagger and the kind of massive confidence that takes people the the top, White's new cut will set your body ablaze with possibility.
It's wonderfully chaotic, and party-starter tunes don't come much stronger than this. Friday night can't come soon enough.
