Listen: Shout Out Louds – Illusions [Best Fit Premiere]

Last month we proudly debuted ‘Walking In Your Footsteps’, the life affirming lead single from Swedish indie pop icons Shout Out Louds’ forthcoming album Optica. The Stockholm five-piece clearly have no intention of taking their foot off the gas ahead of their fourth LP release as this trippy accompanying video for album track ‘Illusions’ demonstrates.

‘Illusions’ is vintage Shout Out Louds with razor-edged guitar hooks and cyclical drum patterns providing the rhythmic thrust for Adam Olenius’ sweet croon to float over; although the unashamedly up tempo jangles are tempered by multi-instrumentalist Bebban Stenborg’s sensitive, aching backing vocals.

British fans won’t have to wait long to catch their unmistakable brand of expansive Scandinavian pop in the flesh; as well as the sold out Lexington show on April 2, Best Fit and Schonberg Concerts are thrilled to be hosting Shout Out Louds at London’s XOYO on June 13.
