“Dontcha think that it’s boring how people talk?” drawls 16-year-old NZ pop sensation Lorde on new track ‘Tennis Court’, the first cut from her forthcoming EP of the same name.
Whether she finds us all boring or not, the teenage rising star can’t help but set tongues furiously a-wagging with each new hook-laden gem she puts out. ‘Tennis Court’ is no exception with skittering RnB licked hi-hats and classic 80s synth pops complimenting her sassy Lana-if-she-cracked-a-smile vocal delivery. Lorde just served an ace against the chasing pack.
Tennis Court is out on 22 July via Virgin.
