Liv appeared not too long ago with the soulful "Come A Little Closer", and now she's back for round two, this time in the form of R&Bossanova ditty, "Special".
Drawing from a deep well of familial influences (she has family from the UK and South America), and the likes of Erykah Badu, Destiny's Child and Charlie Wilson, Liv provides us with a glorious twist on the Sturm und Drang-type soul/surl that arrives in droves nowadays. "Special" is summer, early-00's chilled and slathered in an optimistic honey-glaze.
Both "Special" and "Come A Little Closer" will feature on Liv's debut EP, due before the curtain closes on 2014.
