Listen: Jessie Ware – Imagine It Was Us
If there’s one thing that can get Best Fit a bit hot under the collar on a Friday night, it’s brand new Jessie Ware.
The South London soulstress has teamed up again with friend and go-to producer Julio Bashmore for this 90s inspired disco hit. With her now instantly recognisable seductive vocal, the house-inspired track clicks along almost as if she is simply the dream guest vocalist, but is unmistakably Ware.
Sultry, late-night guitar joins in before reverberating harmonies take over into a totally infectious chorus you want to hear again and again. Complete with a gentle drop, it feels like a proper hit single and an exciting evolution for her. Get involved below.
‘Imagine It Was Us’ is one of four new songs that feature on the deluxe re-issue of Devotion, Best Fit’s Album of 2012. Pre-order Devotion: The Gold Edition via the Jessie Ware store now.
‘Imagine It Was Us’ will be available to pre-order via iTunes from midnight tomorrow (23 March).
