Once again displaying her love for diversity, Jessie Ware unveils a cover of Martika’s 1991 hit ‘Love Thy Will Be Done’.
Co-written by Prince, the track takes the South London soulstress away from the house-heavy night-spots of ‘Imagine It Was Us’ and into a serene secular setting with the blatant biblical message.
Complete with reverberating cheesy guitar solo and a wonderfully happy “woah!”, it feels as positive and uplifting as it would have almost 20 years ago. Eyes closed, hands in the air for this new religious outing below.
