Washington DC’s rising stars GEMS present another bewitching song, this time in the form of a 90s Seal cover. And it works.
Every inch of emotion is dragged from the original, swelling and subsiding like an ocean, overwhelming the senses. GEMS have made the song their own, swathing it in an chilly blanket of brooding sounds and stirring atmospherics.
