Alex G, the soothing, slacker musician on our list of ones to watch in 2015, has reiterated his timid, yet deserved stance with his new track 'Change'.
The layered guitars scale up and down fluently, creating a swirl of solemn chords that perfectly back Alex G's whisper-like vocals. 'Change' reaches out to many, rolling into dark corners that subconsciously unlock the pessimism that people find difficult to express. The contrast between Alex G's soft vocals and the fiercely honest lyrics create a cloud of despair that empowers the sadness surrounding this track, only to morph into an acoustic, slacker summit that dwells charmingly.
'Change' is featured on his upcoming album 'Trick', which is out 6 April via Lucky Number.
Alex G starts his UK tour next week, and you can find out the tour dates after you listen to "Change".
