Lao Ra shares her distorted world with her debut track "Jesus Made Me Bad"
Having been brought up in the midst of the War On Drugs, Colombia-born Lao Ra inspired to reach out into the transatlantic pop-world from a young age.
"Jesus Made Me Bad" shimmers with rebellion and innocence in one track. The tropical steel drums and warped beat shine with some M.I.A./Gwen Stefani influences, but also glisten with the heat from her home ground.
The glitchy melody is infectious, and with an aspiration to reach the pop industry, there's no doubt that this track is brimming with goodness. Whilst Lao Ra's vocals scream innocence, the track is a huge rebellion to her Catholic culture, which is pretty badass.
