Newly-signed to Suicide Squeeze, L.A. Witch are celebrating with the launch of their new single, "Brian".
Sadie Sanchez, Irita Pai and Ellie English are the sound of faded Los Angeles glamour; on "Brian" they're not reinventing the wheel but what they are doing is breathing some much needed life, heart and effortless cool into reverb-laden rock and roll music.
Equal parts the medicinal fog of VU and the dirty blues of The Gun Club, L.A. Witch manage to do a lot with three chords, leaving you exhilarated rather than downtrodden.
"Brian" is taken from the band's forthcoming debut album on Suicide Squeeze. L.A. Witch tour the UK from 14 February.
