L.A. troubadour Jens Kuross merges sprawling folk with off-kilter electro on sensational new single "We Will Run".
"We Will Run" is a breathtaking one-two of pure emotion. In the beginning Kuross' vivid voice perches atop lush melodies, overloooking piano chords that sound like dawn rises. Synth buzz seeps into the mix, with rimshots punctuating the elegiac atmosphere - as "We Will Run" unfurls, it reveals its true intentions, opening up into a world of Radiohead-y synths and blips and bloops. It's a modern hymn with immense hope.
The track is the first taste of the follow up to Kuross' self-titled EP released via Aesop earlier this year.
