Leeds duo Jellyskin share hypnotic electro cut “Half Pedal”
Jellyskin’s new track “Half Pedal” draws you in slowly at first, like you’re being let into a secret - then suddenly surrounds you with choral vocals and steady synth lines.
The duo have shared their new track with the world following their recent single “Mountain”. Staying consistent with their previous tracks, “Half Pedal” has the heavy underlying beat, layered vocals and electronic synths that are becoming synonymous with them.
The track pulls away from its successors with a more hollow and upbeat percussion layer, lifting the song into a far lighter mood than the band have explored in the past. It hooks you in with repetitive lyrics at the latter end of the track, making you want to immediately replay it and figure out exactly when you lost your way in it.

Already boasting Faris Badwan of the The Horrors as a fan and having released a sold-out tape on Manchester’s Blak Hand Records, it seems that Jellyskin know what they’re good at and are definitely going to be sticking around.
