Gilligan Moss' new track "It Felt Right" is so brilliantly wrong
Chicago-born, NYC-based producer Gilligan Moss has been wowing us lately with his manic brand of electronic pop. It's quite unlike anything we've heard, and new cut "It Felt Right" is no different.
"Choreograph" is Moss' first single from his upcoming debut EP Ceremonial, and this follow up sees Moss blur the lines of genre once more. It's got innovative production and Moss isn't afraid to just straight fuck with convention. Slick pop? How about putting those vocals through a sonic woodchipper. Funky bass? That needs an atonal, arrthymic jazz piano. Dance? Gospel. It makes very little sense, but just like "Choreograph", Moss makes chaos beautiful.
The Ceremonial EP is out 14 August on AMF Records.
Pre-order the EP on iTunes, and listen to "Choreograph" on Spotify.
