Get Inuit make an exclamation to remember with "My Oh My"
Getting the year off to a raucous start, Get Inuit have shared their new single - and "My Oh My", what a treat it is.
Take some chiming guitar refrains that aren't afraid to get a little dirty, add driving rhythms, mix in some melodic chorus chants, and the result is a track as hooky as it is liberating. An instant sing-a-long, "My Oh My" demonstrates the band at a bold and brazen best.
Combining raw energy with gritty guitars, the Kent quartet straddle the border between punk and pop with engaging ease. First played by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 as ones to watch in 2016, we may only be half a month into this year, but Get Inuit are showing just how much they intend to make this year count.
With a debut album in the works, this isn't the first and it won't be the last great thing we hear from this band.
Stream "My Oh My" below. Get Inuit kickstart a UK tour later this month, details of which can be found beneath.
