Get Inuit lash out against boredom on new track "All My Friends"

Dirty pop purveyors Get Inuit are back, and they’ve got a problem with how boring your life is. That’s the message of latest release “All My Friends”, the lyrics of which are a tirade against normality, even if they’re sung with tongue firmly in cheek.

Lead singer Jamie Glass explained the song, saying: “I wrote it as a sort of anti-enjoyment song to compete with all of the age orientated pop music I hear in mainstream music. I wanted to use lyrics that would alienate people that live inside their bubbles whilst constantly trying to rationalise all of the safe decisions they made to get to that point.”

Whilst that may make it sound like something that will have you questioning your life choices whilst weeping in the corner, “All My Friends” is still an absolute banger. Driven forward by crashing drums and Glass’ nasal vocals, with a lead guitar that weaves in and out of both, Get Inuit have shown yet again just how good they are at straddling the line between style and substance. All their friends may be dead, but Get Inuit are going to have a good time regardless. Why not go along for the ride?
