Dua Lipa delays debut album, shares soulful ballad "Thinking 'Bout You"
Dua Lipa is moving the release date for her debut album - but she's softened the blow with new track "Thinking 'Bout You".
The BRITs Critics' Choice runner-up is following up "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" with the soulful, acoustic-led ballad - it's a world away from the pumped-up pop she's usually shooting out.
Writing on social media Lipa explains that her LP has been pushed back from February to the summer: "Quick update for you all - *deep breath* - my album release date has moved back a bit... to fit in some new songs and exciting collaborations that are in the works. I'm so sorry it’s moving and I promise it will ABSOLUTELY be with you on 2 June. I’m a perfectionist and want to deliver you the best album I can. I have some more exciting announcements this month... all will be revealed soon!"
Dua Lipa's self-titled debut record is out 2 June via Warner.
