“Pieces of You”, the new track from Dom Robinson, sees the Leeds-based singer showcasing a laid-back, guitar-led writing style topped off with his signature gossamer layers of vocals.
With a sweet cello line from Alexandra Marshall weaving in and out of the track’s simple arrangement, “Pieces of You” is a much more subdued cut than, for instance, earlier release “Good Love”, in which Robinson built a hectic soundscape that explored the challenges of romantic relationships.
Having racked up an impressive collection of support slots already this month, Robinson says that the new release is swiftly becoming his favourite track to perform live.
“Pieces of You” is out 9 June.
