Bo Rocha marries her swaggering "Angel Eyes" with unstable found footage in her new video
Smoky-pop merchant Bo Rocha has revealed her visuals for latest single "Angel Eyes".
Speaking about the video, Rocha said: “I was looking to create an atmosphere and bring out everything I had in mind when writing it. I was obsessing over street racing culture at the time, the adrenaline-seeking craziness of burnouts, and the recklessness mixed with pride and grandiosity that goes with it. So, I wanted the video to be controlled but frenetic at the same time.”
The single is a swaggering piece of dark-synth backed pop, with hues of Lana Del Rey's deadeyed nonchalance lingering on the surface. Instantly woozy and psychedelic, Rocha mimics the track's instability in her visuals, with found-footage and high-octane sequences littering the 4:13 of video.
