Ahead of the release of her upcoming EP Attach To Memory, indie-folk songwriter Ailbhe Reddy shares lead single “Fingertips”.
Citing a plethora of fantastic female songwriters as inspiration, Reddy’s new single sees the Irish singer turn her attention to the topic of female sexuality. “I wanted to push forward and explore [the topic] from a position of strength and confidence,” she explains of the track, which sees her strong, clear vocal soaring over simple guitar and heady rolls of percussion.
With a chorus that walks the line between euphoria and mania, “Fingertips” is Reddy stronger and surer than ever before, and it suits her.
“Fingertips” is out now.
