Dark-pop group Swimming Girls are back with a bold statement of intent on the beguiling “2 Kids”.
Following on from their stunning debut “Tastes Like Money” Swimming Girls have returned with the Cocteau Twins via Lorde inspired “2 Kids”. Drenched in ‘80s reverb, the track starts softly with ruminations on lost love before culminating in a “Heaven or Las Vegas” esque chorus.

It is easy to throw ‘80s inspired bands into one bag but Swimming Girls have deftly navigated their way through the common cliches and emerged on the other side bigger and bolder than ever.
