Little Simz reunites with director Dave Meyers on video for new single, "Young"
Little Simz has shared new single, "Young", as the third taster from her forthcoming sixth album, Lotus.
The accompanying video for "Young" reunites her with director Dave Meyers, following their multi-award winning video collaboration for "Gorilla". Speaking of the track in her own words, Little Simz says: “I was able to tap into a character. That was fun for me. It’s just a moment of light heartedness.”
Little Simz plays two UK headline arena dates this autumn, at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on 16 October and London’s The O2 on 17 October. Later this year, she is also set to join previous Meltdown Festival curators such as Chaka Khan, Christine and the Queens, Grace Jones, Nile Rodgers, Robert Smith, David Byrne, Yoko Ono, Anohni, Massive Attack, Jarvis Cocker, Patti Smith and David Bowie.
Lotus, is set for release on 6 June via AWAL Recordings, and is available to pre-order now. Tickets for her arena shows are on general sale now.
