As previously reported, Arcade Fire have put their church-come-recording-space in Quebec up for sale. Now, with a new studio space needed, they decided to call up LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy for a little help.
With a new album expected to drop later this year, the Canadian indie troupe are currently holed up in Murphy’s DFA Records studio in New York.
The studio’s official Twitter account wrote yesterday morning: ”Arcade Fire STILL with us at DFA… This is going to be one great sounding album!”
We’ll just have to trust them on that one because, sadly, no release date has yet been confirmed.
