The Radio Dept. announce singles collection, Pistol Disco remix

Having kept us perched firmly on the edge our seats for four years awaiting the release of this year’s Clinging To A Scheme, The Radio Dept. have dispelled any fears that we will have to wait as long for the next. January 25 2011 will see the Swedish cult heroes release Passive Aggressive: Singles 2002-2010. A double-disc collection, the track listing spans the length and breadth of the band’s time with Labrador Records, from the warm ambience of ‘Heaven’s On Fire’ to the distorted, vintage shoegaze of tracks like ‘Annie Laurie’ and ‘Ewan.’

The band have a few European and NYC dates lined up for this winter before heading out on their full blown North America tour in February. And just to keep you all ticking over until then you can download Pistol Disco’s dub of ‘Never Follow Suit’ entitled ‘Never Swallow Fruit’, taken from the Never Follow Suit EP out now.
