Interpol unveil new cut "Something Changed"
Interpol have delivered a second outing from their The Other Side of Make-Believe album titled "Something Changed".
Interpol only announced The Other Side of Make-Believe with the opening track "Toni" last week, but today (12 April) the band are back with a second single titled "Something Changed", which is teamed with another Van Alpert-directed video.
Paul Banks said, "In "Something Changed", part 2 of our short film with Van Alpert, reality and reverie converge and our two lead characters find themselves in a kind of dream state - being pursued inexorably by an ominous figure (played by myself.) The lives of the three are intertwined in a nebula of fear, retribution, desire, and defiance. Who will receive their just deserts? Stay tuned and find out!!!"
The Other Side of Make-Believe will follow the band's 2018 album Marauder. Interpol started work on the new album remotely in 2020, and in early 2021 they headed to a rented home in the Catskills before completing the record in North London with Flood and co-producer Alan Moulder.
