Post-rock outfit, Explosions In The Sky will provide the score to an upcoming movie starring Al Pacino.
The band recently soundtracked new David Gordon Green comedy Prince Avalanche and now drummer Chris Hrasky has revealed that they’ll be involved with his follow-up flick Manglehorn.
The film has been described as focussing on “eccentric man who tries to come to terms with a past crime that cost him the love of his life”, with the band set to record the score later this year.
They will then go on to start work on a new album proper, their first since 2011.
