Studio footage of Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy in the studio with his son Spencer (on drum duties) recording Mavis Staples’ new album One True Vine.
Ridiculously charming, ‘I Like The Things About Me’ pulses with a heady overdriven bass groove whilst smatterings of Tweedy’s trademark off-kilter guitar noodling add a sort of cosmic voodoo vibe to the proceedings. Heavy stuff.
The Jeff Tweedy produced One True Vine drops via ANTI- Records on June 25.
