“My Bloody Valentine soundtracking Twin Peaks,” is how Maribel captured their sound when we spoke to them back in February, and this latest track to emerge from the Oslo band fits that description perfectly.
Maribel have just unveiled this clip for ‘Pretty Nights’, the latest track to be taken from their acclaimed album Reveries. Directed by Mona Fastvold, the exceptionally talented wife of Norwegian musical stalwart Sondre Lerche, the video depicts a couple checking out animals, bright lights and each other on a date that’s soundtracked by a sinister, chiming guitar and vocalist Rebekka Von Markstein’s delicate and haunting vocals.
Check the video out above, and then go and have a listen to Maribel’s album Reveries, which is available now via Splendour.
