Danish duo Kill J first caught our attention back in 2013 with their intriguing, dramatic number “Phoenix” before emerging towards the end of February with brand new track “Bullet”. And now, ahead of its official release on 7 April via the ever incredible Chess Club Records, “Bullet” has a brand new video to its name.
Using crisp lines to depict harsh, highly stylised visuals and soft human movements, the black and white footage is a perfect match for “Bullet”s choppy hip-hop beats, alluring Scandi-pop vocals and looping synth hooks. It’s as visually impressive as the song is sonically, and that is quite some feat.
Catch the enigmatic Kill J performing live with Tove Lo on 2 April at Notting Hill Arts Club.
