Watch: Ikons – Sister [Best Fit Premiere]
It’s a little-known fact that Snakes On A Plane is actually a remake. It was thought that the original had been lost in a warehouse fire, but today we are happy to reveal that Nuns On A Plane has been found – and it is getting a fresh release on ever-excellent Swedish label Service.
In fact the video for ‘Sisters’, the long-awaited return from Ikons, is heartbreaking in a way that Samuel L Jackson never quite managed. Expertly constructed from beautifully colourful footage, it is the perfect complement to Ikons’ new direction, which sees the band jettison the instrumental Balearia in favour of catchy American collegiate jangle.
