Watch: Halasan Bazar – Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Sad
Halasan Bazar, a troop of cosmopolitan fuzz pop loving dudes based in Denmark, will release their full length debut Space Junk on 2 April. It’s an LP with overt influences from the past and places the band nicely as another in the new wave of 60s indebted psych bands currently featuring on any “Ones To Watch” list. There’s also a strong spiritual pull towards New York’s Greenwich Village music scene and San Francisco in the sunshine.
Latest single ‘Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Sad’ has now been paired with a video that teeters on the edge of madness. It’s a combination of old film footage, stop-motion animation, an unhappy meal for one and some novel wine tasting. Watch above.
