Watch: Dan Croll – Compliment Your Soul
Dan Croll is making a bit of a habit of releasing entirely infectious indie-pop, since the brilliant ‘From Nowhere’ emerged in the latter half of last year. And now his latest, ‘Compliment Your Soul’, follows suit with its happy-go-lucky melody, twinkling guitar and brass-embellished chorus.
Its slightly trippy but massively heart-warming new video sees Dan and co. coming face-to-face with exotic animals, ploughing through the soulful number with joyful efficiency. Folk-infused vocal and lyrics hark back to his earlier work that you can still enjoy in the live environment. The images are clean and fresh like the music this is exciting Liverpudlian is championing, as he continues his well-earned rise in a relative niche he has found. Let Croll and his lovely guitar ‘Compliment Your Soul’ with this brand new belter, due for release 1 April.
