Since TLOBF last caught up with Vancouver’s The Pack AD back in October last year, Becky Black and Maya Miller have been doing what they do best: Touring. Sure, a lot of bands book a few shows around SXSW, but The Pack AD managed to cram 84 shows into 95 days across the US earlier this year. Then they got back to their native canada and did pretty much the same again. And yet their hard work seems to be paying off: the band have just announced 2 Fall tours supporting The Pink Mountain Tops and NoMeansNo. Luckily for us the girls will be showcasing their ferocious garage rock racket with a handful of UK shows in early September.
As if this wasn’t enough they’ve also offered up the latest video to be taken from their latest album Funeral Mixtape. Co-Starring CBC Radio 3 presenter Grant Lawrence as the disc-jockey from hell, the video was filmed at the CBC offices in Vancouver and generally features larking about and people not taking themselves too seriously….top stuff.
You can catch The Pack A.D. in the UK on:
Friday September 11th- Brixton Windmill, London
Sunday September 13th- End Of The Road Festival, Dorset
Tuesday September 15th-Riot On The Rocks @ The Social, London
