Lifted from perhaps *the most fun album* I’ve heard all year comes ‘Just Me’, the new single from Bodies Of Water off-shoot Music Go Music. The album in question, Expressions, was released via Secretly Canadian/Universal to not as much fanfare as it truly deserved back in October. Though a tour with Franz Ferdinand did win them a few new fans (and a few haters too, check out the comments on this YouTube page – “saw you in london TOO LOUD!!!! get better sound checkers next time” — WFT?!) Music Go Music manage to work up a marvelous retro escapade that treads the fine line of seventies pastiche with effortless ease without coming across as crass or indeed a spoof ABBA tribute band.
Check out their brand new video below. If you don’t come out the other end without having at least tapped your feet, you’re literally dead inside. Really.
