It isn’t every day you get a bench named in your honour. Particularly if you are still alive. Yet that is exactly what happened to Julie Doiron on June 7th when the town of Bruno, Saskatchewan (Population 600) declared “Julie Doiron Day” when she came in to town to play the local venue. As if this isn’t enough the former Juno winner and Polaris nominee has just released this surreal little video for ‘Consolation Prize’, taken from her album I Can Wonder What You Did With Your Day.
