Since leaving Here We Go Magic, Teeny Lieberson joined up with her sisters Katherine and Lizzie and friend Jane Herships to form Teen. The lo-fi Little Doods EP quietly dropped last April and new track ‘Electric’ represents a confident stride forward for the girls, showcasing a more dramatic, affecting sound that distills their influences into something awesome.
The video, which premiered on Stereogum earlier, is no less impressive, looking like something that emerge if Lana Del Rey and tUnE-yArDs collaborated on a chiffon-and-acid based project.
Teen’s debut LP In Limbo is out 27 August on Carpark.
