Manchester based trio Shinies have unveiled their video for debut single ‘Shola’.
A fun-filled tribute to The Smashing Pumpkins’ ’1979′ with comical undertones, everyone’s identities are hidden beneath brown paper bags with cut-out surprised expressions – which doesn’t seem to stop anyone from drinking, smoking and partying the night away in rooms draped with toilet roll.
‘Shola’ will be released on 16 April through Dirty Bingo, as a double A-side with ‘Pillow Talk’.
Shinies are also gearing up to play their first London show on 12 April at the Sebright Arms, alongside Female Band. For tickets, visit their website, www.shinies.bandcamp.com.
