It’s Monday and still very early into the working week, so hopefully you’ll forgive us by tagging this track by steel pan maverick Fimber Bravo as pioneering the genre of ‘space-calypso’. The Trinidad-born musician is prepping his solo record, featuring the likes of Hot Chip. Before then, check out the video to his new single ‘Life After Doomsday’, featuring Anglo-Japanese producer Zongamin. Sounds more like steel drums on Mars to us.
Out today (Monday 19 November) on Moshi Moshi, you can purchase the track via iTunes now.
