Crash & The Coots – Emily (hehe) [Best Fit Premiere]
Crash & The Coots, formerly the more obvious video game homage ‘Crash & The Bandicoots’ before they were forced to do an Owen Pallett and forfeit their pseudonym else face the brunt of Activision, are about to drop their new EP as the inaugural release on recently-formed cassette label Heart Throb Records.
Above you can watch the accompanying video to lead cut ‘Emily (hehe)’; just over three minutes of twisted pop bliss, as lo-fi sensibilities and an enviable ease for intensely catchy hooks battle it out to a rather enjoyable death.
If you’re not into all that visual lark, then you can also stream the track below. Pre-order the John Coles Park EP here, out 15/29 October via Heart Throb (cassette) & Once Upon A Time Records (digital).
