Bobby Womack – Whatever Happened To The Times

Bobby Womack’s collaboration with Damon Albarn and XL Recordings’ Richard Russell has sparked undoubtedly one of the defining records of 2012. Released this week, The Bravest Man In The Universe is Womack’s first album of original material since 1994′s Resurrection and sees the soul legend tread similar paths – production wise – with Richard Russell’s (and indeed, Jamie XX) incredible collaboration with the late Gil Scott-Heron.
