The Guardian called them ‘De La Soul…in a different guise’ but long player awE naturalE sees vocalists/MCs/producers THEESatisfaction pushing an entirely fresh take on the early 90s soul/jazz-tinged hip hop sound.

Stasia Irons and Catherine Harris-White signed to Sub Pop last July after releasing a bunch of acclaimed (and self-produced) EPs on their bandcamp. The duo make literate hip hop with a spaced-out wink that draws in the listener through its lyrical play, soulful production and the combination of two incredibly honey-drenched vocals.
