Watch Boy perform Skin for Best Fit

Swiss-German duo Boy came together in Hamburg nearly half a decade ago while studying pop music. Singer Valeska Steiner and bassist Sonja Glass eventually signed a record deal last year and released their debut album Mutual Friendsin the autumn.

We fell head over heels for their charms during a show at David Lynch’s Silencio club in Paris a couple of months back – certainly the most impressive live band we’ve seen this year, combining everything we love about classic-but-eccentric European indie-pop – and they went down a storm at The Great Escape this past weekend too. Their Best Fit Session takes album standout ‘Skin’ and slows it down to a more nuanced pace.
