Lo-fi scuzzy garage duo Bleeding Knees Club first made an audible blip on our radar about a year ago, during Brighton’s Great Escape showcase festival, where we caught them playing a blustery-but-brief set atop a balcony in Beyond Retro. It was fun, frantic and vital. Fast forward 12 months and we hooked up with Alex (the tall, brown-haired one) in a London gallery (the Orange Dot, since you ask) for a take on album stand-out ‘Lipstick’ – also a rare solo outing for the Queensland native – his musical partner and BKC bassist Jordan sat this one out…
