London’s Lonely Galaxy – better known to his friends as Harry Granger-Howell – dropped a sublimely beautiful 10″ EP back in April on Transparent, followed up earlier this month by a nation-wide tour with Perfume Genius.
We caught up with him just before his appearance at Cecil Sharp House – down the road from London Zoo – for something of an exclusive; the sublimely beautiful ‘June’, yet to to be released anywhere, and premiered here for The Line of Best Fit Sessions.
The song hums with regret and resignation; an all too familiar melancholy. To quote Scott Wright of the wonderful Pingelwood blog; “He makes falling in love sound like the worst kind of torture”.
