Having crafted perhaps their strongest record in seven years with The High Country, a stripped back Richmond Fontaine treat us to a startling version of current single ‘Lost In The Trees’.
Performed inside the foyer of The Prince Charles cinema in the heart of London’s Leicester Square, Willy Vlautin’s faultless storytelling is as bleak as ever – the song telling the tale of a party out in the woods that “got a little fucked up”. A fantastic session from one of America’s finest bands.
The High Country is released on 9 September via Decor Records. Pick up a limited edition 7″ of ‘Lost In The Trees’ now via the good folk at Trash Aesthetics.
