Taken from her second solo album Bye Bye Manchester, released this week, Melanie Pain performed ‘Black Widow’ for us on a boat in Paris.
The single, officially released via Fierce Panda on 14 October featuring Ed Hardcourt, showcases the French singer’s delicate, honeysuckle vocals perfectly as they weave a menacing tale of death, cold hearts and funerals.
Check out Melanie’s session with us from Brighton last year. Bye Bye Manchester is out now.
Melanie will be playing the Borderline in London on 29 March 2014. Tickets are available here.
