Watch Bo Ningen perform “Maki-Modoshi” in session
Japanese-born/London-based quartet Bo Ningen play the kind of acid-noise-jam that meshes a prog spirit and black-hearted groove together in glorious disharmony.
-A staple of the East London scene, they’ve gained support for amazing live shows that see limbs, hair and carnage reign. It’s an unrestrained and riotous frenzy and years of touring has helped them hone a sound that sets them apart from their peers in the UK capital.
Best Fit met up with the hirsute foursome in the studio earlier this month to capture a quite magnificent take of “Maki-Modoshi”, a new track from their upcoming third record.
A double vinyl reissue of Bo Ningen’s second album Line The Wall is out now via Stolen. The band tour with The Cult throughout October and November; dates below:
OCT 22 Norwich – UEA
OCT 23 Wolverhampton – Civic Hall
OCT 25 Manchester – Academy 1
