North London-born Annie Eve got our attention earlier this year when the mighty Young and Lost Club, purveyors of future greatness in music, put out her second extended player.
The 22-year old Eve is notable among a clutch of songwriters offering a fresh perspective on the modern folk sound, finding nuanced expressions in the most subtle vocal and musical arrangements. We caught up with her during this year’s Great Escape festival in Brighton for a breezy take on EP standout “Shuffle”; watch above.
