So! Last Thursday night saw the Nordic music community take-over London’s Lexington with what can only be described as a launch party to end all launch parties. Yes, Ja Ja Ja has well and truly arrived and is sure to be a live staple for the discerning music fan every single month, with a guest curator choosing some of the hottest new Nordic bands to come over to our fair isle to showcase their talents. TLOBF will be on hand every month as official media partner, meaning that you will get exclusive interviews with all the acts taking part, competitions and indeed coverage from each of the shows.
Our trusty photographer Sonny Malhotra was on hand to take pictures of November 17th’s launch party. Francis from Sweden, I Was A King from Norway, Kira Kira from Iceland and TV Off from Finland all wowed the heaving throng that turned up to support the all new club night. Check out the amazing snaps below.
As a little bonus, we asked Ja Ja Ja curator – Radio 1 Introducing DJ Huw Stephens – to point out some of his favourite Nordic acts.
