Torstraßen Festival 2012
On September 1st, Torstraßen Festival kicked off for its second time in pure DIY spirit, taking place in different bars and venues that run along the famous Berlin street Torstraße. Stretching two miles from Prenzelauer Berg to Mitte, Torstraße crosses the famous Rosenthaler Platz, home of hipster Laptopias St. Oberholz and Haus Am See, where you can sip a Club Mate and listen to Soundcloud programmers tap their respective keyboards faster than the speed of light (FYI, the Soundcloud office is right down the street). This year, Torstraßen Festival was host to an impressive international roster, including many of our favourites, such as Dent May, Wintercoats, The Townhouses, Tiny Ruins, LCMDF, D E N A, Ballet School, Touchy Mob, Digits and House Of Wolves.
