Zara Larsson announces fourth album, Midnight Sun
Multi-platinum artist Zara Larsson has announced the release of her forthcoming album, Midnight Sun.
“In thinking about this album, I thought, ‘What do I want to say? What do I want this to be?’ I really am proud of my Swedish pop heritage, so I wanted to write about a Swedish summer where the sun never goes down,” says Zara. “And it doesn't matter if it's December: the summer night will be there for you. It's waiting for you, it will come back for you, and you will come back for it.”
Zara Larsson has also announced a European arena tour for autumn – the first official leg of her Midnight Sun Tour. It will kick off in Munich, Germany on 28 October at Zenith Arena, which leads her to conquer London’s OVO Arena, Wembley, Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, followed by a run of Nordic arenas culminating in a homecoming show at Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on 28 November.
Midnight Sun, is set for release on 26 September, and is available to pre-order now. The title track will be released on 13 June.
